For those of you wondering about the weather here in Korea, you should know that we had our first snow today—and in a pretty big way with huge, soft flakes that certainly got my kindergartners excited. On a related note, it now takes a lot longer to get those kids out the door at “home time.”

We had another field trip today, this time to the local fire station. It was pretty much exactly what you’d expect from a visit to the fire station, complete with cartoon safety videos and a full demonstration about fire extinguishers. The highlight came when Katie was selected to model the fire suit for everybody—I’ll be sure to get pics up ASAP—and I was surprised at the speed with which she took it all off standing in front of all those kids.
