One thing about KoC that we have a love/hate relationship with is their desire to thoroughly photograph and document certain events like cooking class, field trips, and birthday parties. It’s kind of a pain when they barge into class with a camera and want every kid to pose (and I mean every kid, so their parents have proof), but on the other hand, they load some of the photos up on the staff computer so we get some great shots of our cute kids.

Case in point: the photos I’m posting here should give you a pretty good idea of what the school looks like and how much cuter my kids are than Katie’s, although she begs to differ. There’s a few shots from the September birthday party (Katie’s girl is the one consistently refusing to smile), the subsequent mayhem and/or “dance party”, and of course cooking class with the now-infamous song-pyun, and an horrible “fruit salad” that consisted of apples, bananas, kiwi, tomatoes, and liberally-applied amounts of mayonnaise (more please!).

And my kids wondered why I didn’t want to eat it.
